Beatrice Ottaviani is the new Sport Director of the show
Born and raised in Lugano but a citizen of the world — the world of the great international show jumping appointments — Beatrice Ottaviani has had horses in her heart and mind since childhood, already showing all her determination in pony competitions. She competed as a rider at international level up to the Young Riders category. With a degree in Communication and Marketing from Franklin University Switzerland in Lugano, she built a brilliant career within the sporting organisation of the most prestigious equestrian shows in the world. From her early experiences at San Patrignano (including the 2005 European Championship), to the Verona World Cup and Piazza di Siena in Rome, she went on to become Event Director of the 5* international shows in Saint-Tropez and Valence, France. For five years she was Series Manager of the Longines EEF Series, the European circuit of 11 stages of Nations Cups promoted by the European Equestrian Federation, coordinating and maintaining relationships with organising committees, federations, riders, chefs d'équipe and sponsors across Europe. In parallel, since 2018 she has been Communication Manager and Athletes Coordinator of the International Jumping Riders Club (IJRC), working closely with the world's top riders to stage the Rolex IJRC Top 10, one of the most important classes at the CHI Geneva, and with the FEI on the main topics related to the sport and its regulations, taking part in the FEI annual General Assembly.
A combination of field experience, international vision and passion for the horse that continues to guide her professional path.
